the thing
The Thing and Not the Thing are both the spirit.
The words bleed out onto the page.
True spirituality is when the former things have passed and the new dawn arises.
Looking into the void, we find ourselves.
The void calls out to us, and yet we do not answer. But we should.
We should for that is why I am writing. The void is the essence of everything.
Outside of everything is the void.
Everything outside of the void is the is.
When the gauntlet and the rituals have passed away, the new slate emerges.
Like a new child, or a new day, these are both the thing and not the thing.
A pilgrimage.
A pilgrimage is both the thing and not the thing.
The thing is the journey but the holy site is not the destination.
The destination of a pilgrimage is the journey.
Both the thing and not the thing.
Music.
The notes are both the thing and not the thing.
The notes are the music, but the music itself is the thing outside of the notes.
This is both the thing and not the thing.
Seeing this world as cosmic nothing is the key to enlightenment.
For when the world is exhausted, much like a person, all that is left is the divine.
The knife is not the thing.
The cutting is the thing.
But what is the thing.
But not the thing.
We see it as what it will be.
We see all things as what it will be.
We do not see them as what they are.
The world, the Bible World, is both ending and being reborn all in the same book.
Who counts the space between the notes?
The Temple
The temple is both the place of worship and condemnation.
